Designed as an all out performance sport plane, the Banshee II is an imaginary design. It can be trimmed out however you like without someone pointing out the colour scheme isn't "scale".

Weight depends on your power system of course, but the prototype weighs 5lb, 8oz.

The model is very straight forward in construction and is relatively quick to build. The fuselage is fiberglass, along with the intake ducting and thrust tube. Carbon fiber is used throughout to create very strong, but light weight parts. You get a clear canopy, foam cores and all the required balsa to cover them. All the plywood parts are cut to shape for you to speed assembly along

This model is big enough for the installation of retractable landing gear but since the majority of builders will be operating from grass flying sites, the kit only provides parts for bungee launching systems. However, instructions and patterns are included so one may install retracts if desired.

All instructions are on a CD instead of a paper book, however, if you do not have a computer, I will include an instruction book if requested.

This model has just recently been updated. Due to the characteristic of the elevator control being blanketed out by the wing during landings if too much pitch control was induced ( nose up ), a working canard has been designed and is now a standard part of this kit. The Banshee II now includes the fully functioning canard.

The power system recommended is the Airpower AP-900 fan with the Aveox 36/24/2 brushless motor, the Aveox SL-48 ESC ( or similar ), 16 - 3300 Nmh cells ( or equivalent Lipo pack ). Check the Aveox website for the specifications of the motor if another brand is desired to be compared with.
